I know some of you prefer ebooks over physical books, audiobooks over ebooks or physical above everything else. But where do you get them from?
For me it is usually one of the following outlets (some of them are affiliate links):
- a local library for physical books that are available there
- Bookdepository - lots of physical books, free worldwide delivery (I think)
- Amazon.com for Kindle eBooks
- BookBub - I subscribe to get notifications when something from my wishlist is on sale
- Audible - I have a yearly subscription so for $119.50 a year I get 36 audiobooks (12 regular ones and two Audible Originals each month)
- Audioteka - a similar model to Audible but slightly cheaper and in Polish
- Legimi - read-all-you-want service in Polish with ebook and audiobooks; you can get it for free in local libraries and thatβs the way I use it
- Scribd - another read-all-you-want service with ebooks and audiobooks; you get 2 months free trial by signing up with this link
- Librivox - free audiobooks of varying quality. Mostly classics in public domain
Bonus:
- Blinkist - for nice book summaries, mostly as an inspiration
